Hello! My name is Kelsey, and I’m head over heels in love with cats and dogs, especially of the older and special needs variety.
My love for animals began when I was young, starting with two tabby cats, German Shepherds, and a Pomeranian mix, as well as smaller critters like rats and rabbits. I’m currently a proud pet mom to my beloved 16 year old tortie and 8 year old poodle/chihuahua mix.
I have over 8 years of experience working with special needs animals and I am skilled in all forms of medication administration in as fear free and comfortable manner as possible. I can pill, give liquid meds, sub q fluids and injections, and syringe feed.
Since starting It’s Walkie Time in 2018, it has been my sole career and passion. My many years of experience with animals helps me befriend even the most skittish kitty or shy pup. I'm comfortable walking dogs of all breeds and sizes, and I have a lot of experience with reactive dogs as well. With my pet first aid and CPR certification, you can rest assured that your pets will be cared for as if they’re my own!
Nerine - Senior Nap Time Coordinator
Nerine was rescued as an 8 week old kitten and has been by my side ever since. She’s a special needs kitty with inflammatory bowel disease, kidney disease, arthritis, and asthma, so she’s good at keeping me on my toes!
She can usually be found begging for cheese, curled up on a heated blanket, or walking around meowing with her favorite toy in her mouth!
Spyro - Mascot & Chief Barking Officer
Spyro was adopted from the Oregon Humane Society in 2017 and has grown from incredibly shy to outgoing and nonstop happy wiggles. Butt scratches are his favorite thing in the world, with long walks being a close second. He will do just about anything for a snack!
He’s always eager to make new friends - human, dog, and cat alike, so if you see us out and about, please stop and say hello!
